An MRI on Jacob deGrom’s shoulder revealed “considerable healing of the stress reaction on his scapula,” the Mets announced on Monday. deGrom has been cleared to begin “loading and strengthening of the shoulder,” though the club did not mention a timetable for throwing.
He’ll receive another MRI in three weeks.
