WATCH: Dodgers, MLB hold 2022 All-Star Week launch event

The Dodgers and Major League Baseball are holding a special event live from Dodger Stadium to officially launch the countdown to the 2022 MLB All-Star Week, available to watch live right now on MLB Network and simulcast on MLB.com. It is set to include the unveiling of the All-Star schedule as well as fan events taking place in Los Angeles during All-Star Week.

Hosted by Dodgers and MLB on FOX broadcaster Joe Davis and MLB Network broadcaster Alanna Rizzo, the event includes Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten, MLB chief operations and strategy officer Chris Marinak, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti and city councilmember Gil Cedillo, as well as Dodgers All-Stars Clayton Kershaw, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, Trea Turner and Walker Buehler.

This will be the second Midsummer Classic held at Dodger Stadium, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2022. The last All-Star game held in Los Angeles was more than 40 years ago, in 1980.
