One of baseball’s biggest future stars faces off against its hottest hitter as Adley Rutschman and the Orioles take on Aaron Judge and the Yankees at 7:05 p.m. ET Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. Best of all, you can catch it all for free with MLB.TV’s Free Game of the Day, presented by Duluth Trading.

Rutschman, the No. 1 prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline, is 3-for-16 with one triple over his first four big league games, but he’s brought a noticeable jolt to an Orioles club that has won four of its last six, including two against the Yankees.

Despite those losses, New York still leads the season series against the O’s, having won eight of 12 games, while belting 21 homers and scoring 64 runs (5.3 per game). That’s been in no small part thanks to Judge, who has six homers and 11 RBIs in 11 games against Baltimore.

With two homers in Monday’s series opener, Judge increased his MLB-leading total to 17, five more than any other player entering play Wednesday. The slugger has been especially dialed in of late, slashing .370/.444/.852 with eight homers and 15 RBIs over his last 14 games.

Judge will look to keep rolling as the Yankees send left-hander JP Sears, their No. 23 prospect, to the mound for his first MLB start. Opposing him will be right-hander Tyler Wells, who will be making his third start of the season against New York. Over his first two, Wells has limited the Yankees to two runs in nine innings.
