Two American League division leaders will meet Tuesday when the Twins host the Yankees, and you can watch it for free at 7:40 p.m. ET/6:40 p.m. CT as MLB.TV’s Free Game of the Day.

The Yankees enter Tuesday’s game on a six-game winning streak, during which their starting pitchers have gone 5-0 with a 0.85 ERA in 42 1/3 innings.

The Bronx Bombers, who have MLB’s best record at 39-15, will send Jameson Taillon to the hill after he took a perfect-game bid into the eighth inning Thursday against the Angels at Yankee Stadium.

The Twins, meanwhile, are coming off a road series in Toronto in which they took two of three from the Blue Jays. After a last-place finish in 2021, Minnesota is leading the AL Central with a 32-24 record this season.

In addition to the MLB leader in batting average (.358) and on-base percentage (.447), Twins infielder Luis Arraez, Tuesday’s matchup will feature four players who rank among the AL’s top 10 in homers — MLB leader Aaron Judge (21 homers), Anthony Rizzo (13 homers) and Giancarlo Stanton (11 homers) on the New York side and Byron Buxton (12 homers) on the Minnesota side.

When the game gets into the later innings, we may also get a glimpse of two of baseball’s most electric relievers in Yanks right-hander Clay Holmes and Twins righty Jhoan Duran.
